Friday Fry Up

It's cloudy and rainy in DC, boo. Next week is CPAC in the wake of Super Tuesday. It should be exciting and will also help make some predictions, tie up the ends that Super Tuesday may leave undone.

Anyways, Happy Friday. Ron Paul's Campaign has decided that changing staff will help them get ahead...right.

Aah yes, and the strange mixture of pop culture and politics is becoming more mixed up and confused as noted by Stephen King in this piece. Frankly, he thinks the Writer's Guild of America strike benefits the Presidential race because more voters are tuning into see what's going on, and have become more savvy. Here is a quote"

Can I be blunt? I think a lot of voters now lie right through their teeth when speaking to pollsters. And that might be the most optimistic trend in an election year where the coverage has never been dumber or more dubious. Because, dig, American voters seem to have realized that once they go into the voting booth and pull the curtain closed, they're on their own. No cameras, no celebs, no immunity challenges. Only them and the lever. Which I think is the way it's supposed to be. Of course, that's just my opinion.

Just for fun, here is a Slate critic's piece on 'Meet the Spartans' and the creator's other films, like Not Another Date Movie and such....the first paragraph's actually have something to do with the film's political references....

And Fox ran this story on an ad with overly sexed up Nuns and nudity. Really, it just goes to show you that the advertising world is having a hard time coming up with ideas and shock value always works....

So that's all Folks! Happy Friday! Drive safe! Don't Drive Drunk!
