Hey oh! Some of you are probably returning from a three day week-end while others are just returning to work.
It was a bumper crop of events this week-end with Romney winning Nevada and McCain taking North Carolina. That puts the race solidly between Romney and McCain. Bye bye Huckabee!
Some pundits are still saying that Giuliani is in the race because of his Florida strategy, but this blogger took him out of the equation weeks ago, anything is possible...it's just that with the other contenders racking up wins in other states it has to influence Florida. Really, Giuliani's plan of skipping the first states and winning Florida to influence Super Tuesday had some major flaws.
Yesterday Rasmussen Reports put Romney as the winner in Florida, with McCain second, and Giuliani last.
Furthermore
As if Giuliani's strategy wasn't bad enough, did anyone notice that the man is missing half of his eyebrows?? This week-end on TV, it was clear that his eyebrows stopped 1/4 of the way over his eyes, what happened? Did he shave them off in anger? Is he moulting? It's always weird to see how politicians faces morph in sometimes weird ways as they campaign...
Clinton and Obama are getting nasty with each other as they run towards the South Carolina Democratic primary this coming Saturday. Obama slung claims of Hillary being a Wal-mart loving job mover and HIllary claimed that Barak worked for a dirty slum lord.
More importantly, Bill Clinton has been racking up repeated bad encounters with the press, as he barely controls his temper....hmm.. it looks like Hillary feels as if someone needs to protect her with their temper which does not say much for her.
Whatever the case the two major Dem candidates are certainly getting into the dirt with each other......which this blogger wants to say is good for the Republicans as the R's look more adult as a result.
However, then Chuck Norris had to go out and call McCain old this week-end on behalf of Huckabee, no no no. Huckabee should not have his tv celeb friend do his dirty work..no no no.
It does mean however that Huckabee perceives McCain as his threat now whereas a week or two ago he was really focused on Romney in Iowa.
Oh and here is something funny on Bill Clinton's library in Arkansas, very amusing and so true in it's own way.
