McCain Rising?

Ah, this blogger has returned from a vacation of sorts over the Holidays. (Note to self: driving copious amounts to visit both sets of parents over the Holidays can leave one feeling...well, exhausted.)

Anyways, this '07 ended with strange happenings as the much rumored McCain surprise attack, one might call it a Macattack, except that one cannot be sure if this is something the McCain campaign actually planned....basically-Huckabee and Romney may be cancelling each other out with some people predicting that Romney will do well in Iowa, and New Hampshire is getting McCain fever-that leaves Huckabee as the guy this blogger thought he was in the beginning-a great runner up potential vice presidential contender.

Huckabee has taken some hits with his weird unveiling of a new attack against Romney, that he will not run on the networks-but then ran for the media earlier this week. Can we say passive aggressive? He originally made the ad to fight some of the negative passes that Romney made against him for his record as Governor on justice issues.

Ultimately, this race is down to Romney(National Review endorsed Romney) and McCain now, and that is a tough call for anyone to say who will come out ahead. Some people say that Romney's Mormon background will turn off voters if he were to go against Hillary, others say that McCain has already turned off too many people for it to matter. And weirdly, enough some Dems have been talking about voting for John McCain, hmmm, so they are not supporting Hillary? Would it somehow benefit Barak for the more serious liberal base?

Here is an article
on the money and the campaigns from CRC, some $$ for thought.
This is a white knuckle week for the campaigns with the caucuses and primaries starting to happen.......Giuliani? What about Giuliani?

Well, Giuliani has more skeletons out of the close than in it, and while he has great name i.d. the public spotlight has not made him look good nor the fact that he has to attack others all the time for fear someone will figure out how not presidential he is....
