There was much talk here at the Polireport, on other blogs, and even in the general media, one could look up older posts here to find them-that pointed to how the Republican field was so overcrowded and there seemed to be too much division as to who should be the front runner. But then, what about the current issues with the three people that the majority of Americans would be choosing from for President?
One can find plenty of websites detailing the weaknesses and fatal flaws of the candidates. So who would lead the country? Barack lacks experience which is painfully obvious whenever he is asked any kind of policy question, Hillary brings nothing but trouble to the table with all her fine years of public life-one painful look back at the Clinton's ignorance that lead to 9/11 or the antics of the Clinton Presidency is enough to turn one off, and that leaves Senator John McCain.
McCain who angered so many conservatives that some radio conservatives would still rather pick on him, Hillary and Barack at the same time than just aim for the obvious leftist that Barack is...
ugh.
Really, a quick listen to Rush Limbaugh yesterday revealed this point.
McCain who has a history of flagrant affairs that no one wants to see in office repeating what the country went through with Bill Clinton. Maybe? McCain who has some funding issues and conflicts which might completely stop him from who knows? Functioning in a campaign?
He is still the McCain that inspires McCainiacs, that survived torture in Vietnam and the person with the best experience for the job.
The question is will the country get that? Or will the country be so busy spinning the circle of options that they never figure it out and someone wins by default???
Who knows for now. Have a nice week-end.
