This blog space could be filled up with stuff about Hillary loosing, but still being the as ever unflappable half of the Clinton machine. Or it could be about Barack Obama not having enough experience and being scarily big government. Lastly, it could be about John McCain and his comfort with the media. But no.
William F. Buckley has passed away. Oh so sad, he was so smart, so articulate and cool. There really aren't good words to be posted here on him. Better if you read the link above.
"He died while at work," said Kathryn Jean Lopez, editor of the National Review Online, in a written statement. "If he had been given a choice on how to depart this world, I suspect that would have been exactly it. At home, still devoted to the war of ideas."
This makes one want to dust off a copy of 'God and Man at Yale.'
Does anyone find it strange that Fox doesn't have his death in the forefront of their website? But that CNN does.....???
It seems that as Bush prepares to leave office next year, the media is as ever liberal, but getting confused.....or unconfused, maybe less overtly biased. Maybe it's the Howard Stern effect? The effect is that the highest number of devoted listeners to Howard Stern are mostly people who really hate the things he does and says......was that the case with CNN and Buckley?
