Howard Dean is asking the Democrats to get it all decided between Barack and Hillary by July 1, 2008. Awww. Can't they fight all the way to election day!???? Boo. Oh well, that's at least 3 more months of fun.
AS for the Republicans, it looks like Mitt Romney may still be a possible nominee for the position of Vice President with John McCain. It seems untenable since the two did not get along very well during the race before Romney stepped down, but it could happen and it would be a good idea.
And lo and behold the truth comes out that most companies go abroad for customer service workers because the U.S doesn't provide those people at an affordable rate...from AT&T.
Two thoughts on this article about Tyler Perry from a Yale divinity professor. One: Perry's fans are not just black, urban, and christian women. Two: Why should Perry focus on black men, the injustice of the system, violence, and healthcare: when those are in fact the only things that his contemporaries focus on? The article implies that because he has chosen his focus to be on what has been described as women's issues and christianity that his work is not valuable, nor even filling a void.
Okay, okay, now if this story about the Starbuck's barista giving her kidney to a customer doesn't make you cry or feel moved at all, you may have no heart. The only thing is, the inner cynic wonders if Starbucks has really gotten desperate for good P.R.
