Ron Paul Rides Again!

Oooh! Yes, Ron Paul is still going at it. Here is another press release from his campaign.

Congressman Ron Paul to Speak at Nevada State Republican Convention

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONTACT: Jesse Benton

March 20, 2008 703-248-9115

Republican congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul has accepted an invitation from the Nevada Republican Party to be a keynote speaker at the Nevada Republican State Convention on April 26th. The Texas congressman came in second place in the presidential preference poll held on January 19th in Nevada, and continues to enjoy fervent support among many Republicans in the Silver State.

“Dr. Paul’s visit to the Nevada Republican Party State Convention reflects Dr. Paul’s continued commitment to the presidential race and to the traditional conservative movement in the Republican Party,” said Jennifer Terhune, Nevada communications coordinator for the Ron Paul campaign. “Throughout this election cycle, Dr. Paul has recognized the important role Nevada can play in the selection of a presidential nominee at the Republican National Convention in September.”

The Nevada Republican Party State Convention will be held on Saturday, April 26th, in the Tuscany Ballroom at the Peppermill Hotel Casino in Reno. Guests and media are welcome to attend.

Ron Paul will be with us probably beyond whatever bitter end Hillary and Barack come to down the road. They will fight and claw at one another leaving who knows what behind, but we will always have Ron Paul. At least until the actual next president is elected.

By the way, Americans are not worried about global warming, at least not as much as they are worried about drinking water and soil contamination according to a Gallup poll.

Gallup's annual Environment survey was conducted March 6-9, just before a widely publicized Associated Press investigation reported that drinking water is not necessarily as pure as people think. While it is safe to drink, the report stated that drinking water in a number of major U.S. cities has been found to contain trace elements of pharmaceutical drugs. Thus, the report was released at a time when concern about drinking water was already at a relatively high level.

Ah ha! So, there is something in the water!
