As far as Barack Obama's relationship to Reverand Wright goes he has distanced himself from the pastor now, but while one may not entirely agree with their pastor on every issue, it seems hard to believe that Barack is as far from Wright's opinions as he claims. He certainly did not find him offensive enough before to back away, amd only did so under threat to his campaign....
